The world has changed.
I was just reading one of those job hunting books, this one about finding a certain parachute. This one is updated yearly; I tend to read it each year if only for the author’s take on how the world of work is looking.
And, this year, like the past few, he states, “the world has changed.”
His mark for the great switch was 2008, the year the Great Recession began, an economic downturn not seen since the Great Depression. That’s pretty incredible; if you think about it. Not sure how many of you have felt those economic blows, but most of my friends and neighbors are certainly feeling a bit thin.
Not much fun, but still true...
